I have presented to middle and high school students in small classes and all-school assemblies, at traditional and alternative schools, at graduations, and to detained youth in hospitals and prisons.

I tell the unlikely story of how I came to be an author and how themes from my growing up ended up reflected in my first book,  Jumped In.
